Hard Cheese Mold - Small-1
4-1/2'Wide x 5"High with follower and open bottom. A food grade polypropylene cheese mold imported from France. This mold will work with any of our presses and is used when making up to a 2 pound cheese from 2 gallons of milk.
This 2 lb mold does not need the amount of weight for pressing as our larger M2 mold so therefore does not need a closed bottom to contain the curd mass. The open bottom also provides the best drainage.
Small: Can make up to a 2lb cheese. Can handle a pressing weight of up to 100lbs.
Large: Can make hard cheese between 5 and 7lbs. Can handle a pressing weight of approximately 150 to 200lbs.
