Still Spirits Turbo Yeast 24 uses a mix of yeast nutrients and dry distiller’s yeast that are designed for rapid fermentations that create high alcohol content. Ferments out 6kg sugar in under 24 hours while producing terrific distillate quality. To maintain the fastest fermentation possible, it’s important that the water temperature at start is correct, and only 6kg of sugar is used to achieve maximum speed. Use of Turbo Carbon is suggested, as it will greatly improve Express Turbo’s performance. 

Still Spirits Turbo Yeast Classic 8 (48 hour) is the best all rounder Turbo Yeast, performing excellently under most conditions. Use with 8 kg of sugar for high ABV, or 6 kg of sugar for fast fermenting. Classic has been further improved with the inclusion of new mineral absorbents, further improving distillate quality. We recommend you use Turbo Carbon as it will significantly improve the performance of Classic 8 Turbo.

Heat Turbo Yeast The only Turbo to use when the air temperature is above 91°F (33°C). Delivers excellent quality alcohol in hot conditions. Heat is also the only yeast we recommend for 'stacking'. Up to a 200 liter (52.8 gallons) volume can be fermented using 8 sachets (providing the start liquid temperature and air temperature are both 68°F (20°C). We recommend you use Turbo Carbon as it will significantly improve the performance of Heat Turbo Yeast.

Pure Turbo Yeast should be used where ultimate alcohol quality is of primary importance. Only use where cool air temperature (between 18°C to 24°C) can be maintained. This is a revolutionary breakthrough in Turbo Yeast development making it possible to produce "triple distilled" quality alcohol in the home. It is essential to use Turbo Carbon with Pure Turbo Yeast.
